Save Museum Street Takes Legal Action
A local campaign group’s latest attempt to block a redevelopment within the Bloomsbury conservation area, comprised of a tower block 20 metres taller than the one currently in its place, has been thwarted as planning permission has now been granted by Camden, the Mayor’s office and the Secretary of State. We have supported the campaign thus far as the site is closely linked to central Covent Garden.
Following this setback, the group is attempting to crowdfund a judicial review which will cost in the region of £10,000. Can you help? They have already raised £2,000 but desperately need help to raise the remaining £8,000 and only have until early April to raise the funds.
